The Kansas City Chiefs are officially on their bye week, and Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are taking advantage of his week off with a little getaway. Daily Mail obtained photos of Kelce arriving at the airport on Tuesday night to join Swift and her father on a private flight to the East Coast. Where exactly they’re headed wasn’t specified. Swift has homes in both New York and Rhode Island.
Swift and Kelce did have a very public weekend in New York City last month. They were photographed enjoying multiple dinners out, attending the wedding of Karen Elson and Lee Foster, and taking in a game at the US Open.
Kelce just celebrated his 35th birthday. While Swift was not at his birthday event, Kelce Car Jam, she did attend his game on Monday. They were filmed kissing after the Chiefs beat the New Orleans Saints. Kelce’s team has not lost any games this season so far.
Swift herself is coming up on the end of her Eras Tour break. She will resume shows on October 18 in Miami.
A source told Us Weekly last week that the couple was focusing on work, but looking forward to spending the holidays together. They aren’t currently making bigger plans for their future.
The source explained, “They are both focused on their work now and just want to get through the holidays and the tour, and will be figuring out their next moves after the new year.”
Kelce’s mom took some questions about the couple during Glamour’s Women of the Year Award last night. She dodged one about whether her son has any plans on proposing to his partner of over one year. “Nobody knows that,” she told Page Six. “We will see what happens. You never know.”
She also addressed their Halloween plans, telling People, “I can’t wait to see what it’s [their costume] going to be. They’re tight-lipped. They don’t tell us anything.”
