Justin Bieber’s wife, Hailey, is seemingly hitting back at the paparazzi in the wake of the Sean “Diddy” Combs sex crimes scandal.
On Monday, October 7, Hailey, 27, took to her Instagram story to share a throwback picture of Justin, 30. In the snap from 2017, a then 23-year-old blonde-haired Justin flips off the paparazzi on a private island in Queensland, Australia. In the iconic photo, the “One Less Lonely Girl” singer is shirtless, showing off his ink and donning red, white, and blue striped swim trunks.
According to Daily Mail, Justin didn’t just give the paps his middle finger at the time — he also shouted, “f*** off, mate” and “F*** you. What’s wrong with you?.” The Rhode Skin founder wrote “mood” in a black font at the bottom of the picture.

It is unclear if Hailey was referring to the media spotlight on her husband right now — his old friendship with Diddy is getting picked apart — when she posted the old photo. However, it’s fair to say she was sending a message posting that particular snap where the paps visibly pissed Justin off.
After Diddy, 54, was charged with numerous sex crimes, fans have been looking into his past relationships, including one with the teen idol. A video from 2009 posted to Justin’s YouTube channel recently resurfaced where the now disgraced rapper said some worrisome things. Diddy told the camera he “can’t really disclose” what he was doing with Justin but that it was a “15-year-old’s dream.” The music mogul also claimed he had custody over Justin.
A 2011 interview with Diddy and Justin on Jimmy Kimmel Live! also recently resurfaced. In the clip, the “I’ll be missing you” singer told Kimmel, “he [Justin] knows better than to be talking about the things that he does with Big Brother Puff on national television.”
The charges against Diddy are severe and include sex trafficking and racketeering. 120 additional victims have come forward accusing him of sex crimes. Diddy denies the charges against him, and according to his attorney, Marc Agnifilo, the rapper plans to testify in court.
Hailey and Justin tied the knot in 2018 and share a son, Jack Blues, born in August. They have not yet publicly commented on the situation.
