Diddy’s arrest and disturbing charges have placed increased scrutiny on his circle of friends, including Leonardo DiCaprio. The Wolf of Wall Street actor allegedly had a long association with the rapper, that goes back a long way. A young DiCaprio was seen partying with Diddy at one of his parties in an old photo. The actor has since faced a barrage of wild accusations.
Fans have earlier spread rumors that DiCaprio had fled the country fearing Diddy’s infamous list. However, he is currently in Paris and it seems that the Diddy allegations have followed him all the way to Paris. In a recent Instagram video, he was shamed by French paparazzi for his alleged connection to Diddy.
Leonardo DiCaprio Shamed For Diddy Connection In Paris
Sean Diddy Combs was famous for his White Parties where A-list stars, including Leonardo DiCaprio, were in attendance. Diddy shared in 2017 with Vogue that DiCaprio was his “number one guest” on the invite list to his party. The Titanic star was even seen dancing at the Last Night singer’s 50th birthday party in 2019 (via Forbes).
However, the nature of Diddy’s parties came under scrutiny after disturbing details emerged about the hip-hop mogul. According to the grand jury indictment against him, Diddy and members of his Enterprise have allegedly facilitated “Freak Offs” — wild gatherings filled with drugs and s*x. The feds allegedly gathered evidence of these gatherings during a raid of his LA and Miami mansions in March.
Since DiCaprio was seen at his parties, fans have been engaged in a slew of rumors about his involvement in freak-offs. There have been accusations that he had fled the country. DiCaprio, who is currently in Paris, was faced with paparazzi comments about the Diddy connection, some of which were not at all kind to him.
In a video posted to YouTube from @X17onlineVideo, a paparazzi reporter is heard asking him, “Did you join Diddy for his Freak Off?”. In another video posted to Instagram account @quirkbuz, a French paparazzi called out to the actor, “Shame on you for P Diddy.” In both instances, DiCaprio was seen walking away, ignoring the comments altogether.
The narrative around DiCaprio and Diddy seems to have been twisted way beyond the actual facts. The accusation without any evidence against the actor might be totally unwarranted.
A Source Close to Leonardo DiCaprio Has Responded To The Accusation
A source close to Leonardo DiCaprio shared with Daily Mail that he had only attended a few of Diddy’s parties back in the early 2000s. The source claimed that he and Diddy weren’t in touch for years. Moreover, the source clarified that the parties that the actor attended weren’t freak-offs. The source shared:
He attended a few of his parties back in the early 2000s — but literally everyone did. They were not freak-offs. He has nothing to do with any of that world, so for anyone to assume that he will get roped into this based on a few grainy photos that are more than 20 years old is ridiculous.
Diddy was arrested in New York City on September 16 after being indicted by a federal grand jury. He has been currently charged with three counts. The charges include racketeering conspiracy, s*x trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion, and transportation to engage in pr*stitution.
According to Forbes, more than 100 people are set to come forward against Diddy for s*xual abuse in new lawsuits.
