Saif Ali Khan FINALLY Reacts To Angry ‘Bedroom’ Remark To Paps: Part And Parcel Of What We Do
Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan are not only celebrated actors but also doting parents to Taimur and Jeh. While their kids enjoy immense popularity and are favorites of the paparazzi, Saif has been quite vocal about maintaining their privacy.
Saif’s Addresses His ‘Bedroom’ Remark
At a recent event, Saif finally addressed his controversial remark asking paparazzi to “come to their bedroom.” The incident occurred when Saif and Kareena were returning from a late-night party, and a large group of photographers followed them all the way into their building compound.
Recalling the moment, Saif explained at the India Today Conclave, “There were about 25 cameras that walked inside the gate, into the compound, into the lobby of the building. So the next step was the bedroom. So I did say, why don’t you guys come in. If you look at something 10 times, it seems really bad.”
Saif’s Relationship With Paparazzi
Saif also spoke about his overall relationship with the paparazzi. He acknowledged that while celebrities sometimes benefit from being photographed, it can also feel intrusive. “When I am playing with the kid and I do not want to be photographed, I might look grumpy. But when I am all dressed up, it suits me to have my pictures taken by them,” Saif added.
He stated that the paparazzi in India are quite polite and understanding compared to those in other countries. “In America or England, they really do publish an embarrassing photo of you. But these guys don’t do that. India is very special.”
On Celebrities Paying Paparazzi
When asked if some celebrities pay the paparazzi for their attention, Saif candidly responded, “Some times celebs invite paparazzi, some of them pay them, but most of us in my family have never paid the paparazzi.” He revealed that certain celebrities and their kids have a rate card, and one of his children ranks high on that list.
