In an unfortunate incident, Malaika Arora’s father Anil Mehta has passed away. The family is going through tough time. Several Bollywood stars have visited the family to offer their condolences during this difficult time. Amid this, Vijay Varma has requested paparazzi to maintain grace as the family is grieving. Earlier, Varun Dhawan has also slammed paps.
Vijay Varma took to his X handle and wrote, “Pls leave the grieving family alone.. it’s not easy anyway for them. Thoda toh grace rakho media walon.” On Wednesday, Varun Dhawan also shared a post reading, “It is the most insensitive thing to point cameras in the face of the people who are grieving please think what you people are doing or what someone is going through when u do this. I understand it is work but sometimes another human might not be Ohkay with this #humanity.”

Earlier, Salman Khan was also seen visiting Malaika’s family to pay his respects. Dressed casually in a navy-blue shirt and distressed jeans, Salman made a brief but somber appearance. This is the first time Salman has publicly reunited with Malaika since her divorce from his younger brother, Arbaaz Khan, in 2017. Malaika’s father, Anil Mehta, was deeply loved by his family and was described as a gentle soul, a devoted grandfather, and a loving husband.
Coming to the incident, according to Mumbai Police, he jumped from the balcony of his home in Mumbai’s Bandra. On September 11, Malaika released an emotional statement about her father’s passing, requesting privacy during this heart-wrenching period. Her message read: “We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our dear father, Anil Mehta… Our family is in deep shock by this loss and we kindly request privacy… We appreciate your understanding, support, and respect.”
Malaika’s friends, family, and colleagues have rallied around her, offering support as she navigates this painful chapter.
