Kajol visited Malaika Arora on Wednesday evening following the news of her father’s sudden death.
Kajol made her way to Malaika Arora’s family home on Wednesday evening. She headed to meet Malaika and her family to offer her condolences on her father’s death. Malaika’s father Anil Arora passed away on Wednesday morning. The police said that initial investigation indicate suicide. However, they are investigating the death.
In a video surfaced online, Kajol gestured the paparazzi to move as she made her way into the building. Kajol joined the list of Bollywood stars who visited Malaika after her father’s death. Earlier in the day, the paparazzi spotted Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor and Salim Khan.
Arbaaz Khan was one of the first Bollywood star to have reached Malaika’s parents’ home following Malaika’s father’s death. The actor, who was previously married to Malaika, was seen waiting underneath her parents’ building with the police officers when the investigation was taking place.
Although the family is yet to issue a statement, a police source revealed that Joyce Arora, Malaika’s mother, has recorded her statement with the police and shared the events that played out in the morning. Sources claimed Malaika’s mother, Joyce, in her statement to the police, said that Anil Arora would routinely sit on the balcony and read the newspapers every morning. She told the police that they were divorced, but had started living together again for the past few years. She told the police that on Wednesday morning, when she saw her ex-husband’s slippers in the living room, she went to look for him on the balcony.
When she could not find him there, she leaned over and saw below. The building watchman was shouting for help. Joyce also told the police that Anil Arora was not suffering from any illness. He only had some knee pain.
