A former child star showed off her impressive six pack on the red carpet.
The unrecognisable actress shot to fame in How The Grinch Stole Christmas aged just six before going on to hold a long-running role in legendary high school soap opera Gossip Girl. The 31-year-old actress is none other than Taylor Momsen.
Taylor has enjoyed a long and varied career in the industry after signing to elite model agency IMG at age 14. As well as acting and modelling, Taylor is the lead singer of the rock band The Pretty Reckless.
The singer looked worlds away from her adorable role as Cindy Lou alongside Jim Carey’s The Grinch as she rocked a bold topless look at KidSuper’s Funny Business Comedy Fashion Show in New York on Monday. Taylor displayed her ripped abs as she wore only tape across her nipples on the red carpet.
She sported a black jacket with grey streaks and matching trousers, completing the look with a black belt and platform boots. Taylor took to Instagram to praise the event as she wrote: “Virgin eyes and dirty looks and a great time with @kidsuper at one of the funnest fashion events I’ve ever been to! Thanks to @dougieplaylist and the whole team for having me! @lovesac @puma @bfa @nyfw makeup.”
The New York Fashion Week event was hosted by Marlon Wayans and featured comedians take the stage wearing clothing from fashion line Kid Super’s Fall/Winter 2024 collection. Taylor landed numerous acting roles when she was a child including in Spy School, Underdog, and Spy Kids 2: Island of Lost Dreams.

From 2007 to 2012 she played Jenny Humphrey on Gossip Girl – the series about prep school kids in New York City. Taylor began fronting the rock band The Pretty Reckless in 2009 and previously revealed her wish to step away from acting.
In an interview with Elle magazine in August 2011, she said: “I quit Gossip Girl and now tour and am in a band and that’s pretty much all I want to do. Hopefully I’ll be able to only do that for the rest of my life.”
The Pretty Reckless has released four studio albums, most recently Death by Rock and Roll in 2021. They also released a compilation album, Other Worlds, in 2022. In a horror moment on stage earlier this year, Taylor earned the nickname “bat girl” after being bitten by the animal during a gig in Spain.

Taylor’s band were supporting AC/DC in the Spanish city of Seville in June when the bat flew on to her leg during the song Witches Burn. “There’s a f***ing flying bat on my leg right now, can someone help me please?” She asked.
“I must really be a witch,” she joked as backstage staff helped to remove the bat. When it was gone, Taylor said: “Gracias. It’s alright and the bat is fine. He’s going to be my new friend.”
Taylor later shared a picture of the bite marks and revealed hospital staff called her “bat girl”. “He was cute, but yes, he bit me… so rabies shots for the next two weeks,” she added.
