Summer may fade, but the memories last forever — at least on Gwyneth Paltrow’s Instagram feed. The 51-year-old Hollywood icon took a moment to look back on a season well spent with a video montage, giving fans a rare glimpse of her mini-mes, Apple and Moses.
Paltrow posted the reel on Monday, September 2, captioning it, “Summer was good to us.” The clip, set to Father John Misty’s “Real Love Baby,” showed a series of snaps including the Goop founder riding a helicopter with her 18-year-old son Moses and a handful of selfies with her 20-year-old daughter Apple.

Other highlights include cameos from Paltrow’s former spouse, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, Apple and Moses’ dad, as well as her current beau, American Horror Story co-creator Brad Falchuk. Paltrow is stepmom to Falchuk’s children, Isabella, 19, and Brody, 17.
In one shot, the Iron Man star posed between both her kids, showcasing an uncanny resemblance that clearly runs in the family. And while Paltrow’s family moments were particularly sweet, she also made sure to spotlight moments with her pals — including Reese Witherspoon and Rashida Jones.
After posting the snapshots to social media, fans flocked to the comment section to show their love for the family.
“OMG that picture of Chris and Moses is utterly adorable. What a wonderful Summer ❤️,” commented one fan. Another chimed in, “What a good summer indeed 🥧,” while others simply stated, “Gorgeous 🔥” and “❤️ Pure joy!”
This family vacation comes on the heels of a major transition for the award-winning actress — becoming an empty nester. With Moses setting off for Brown University and Apple already studying at Vanderbilt, Paltrow and Falchuk, 53, are adjusting to a quieter, kid-free home.
Talking with The Sunday Times in March, Paltrow got real about her evolving family dynamic. “In the fall Brad and I have boys that will be going off to university,” she said, noting that Brody is gearing up for college, too.
“It’ll be interesting to see how the morning routine changes with no kids in the house,” she added.
