Jamie Lee Curtis

Jamie Lee Curtis recently shared her frustration over paparazzi photos that were leaked during the filming of ‘Freakier Friday,’ the much-anticipated sequel to ‘Freaky Friday.’ In response to the situation, Curtis took to social media to post one of the leaked photos herself. The image shows her and co-star Lindsay Lohan sharing a warm embrace on a beach set, a moment meant to remain private until the film’s release.
Curtis voiced her disappointment, explaining that the film’s team had worked hard to keep the plot and key moments under wraps. Despite their efforts, the paparazzi managed to capture and distribute images that, although not revealing anything significant about the story, intruded on the creative process. Curtis acknowledged that, since the images were already out there, she would share one to highlight the joy and fun that she and the cast experienced while making the film. She assured fans that the positive energy felt on set would translate to a great experience when the movie hits theaters next year.
In her post, Curtis also emphasized the importance of watching movies in theaters, where people can come together to share the experience of a story, complete with laughter, tears, and, of course, popcorn. She expressed her excitement for the film’s release and tagged Lindsay Lohan and Disney Studios in her post, underscoring her enthusiasm for the upcoming theatrical debut.
Curtis and Lohan both recently celebrated the completion of the film. Curtis referred to Lohan as the “ULTIMATE movie daughter,” while Lohan expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to work on the film. Lohan shared that the story revolves around family, love, and laughter, and mentioned how special it was to work with Curtis, who brought joy to the set every day.
In the movie which will be hitting the screens next year, actors who will be returning are Chad Michael Murray, Mark Harmon, Christina Vidal Mitchell, Haley Hudson, Lucille Soong, Stephen Tobolowsky, and Rosalind Chao. Newcomers like Manny Jacinto, Sophia Hammons, Julia Butters, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, and Jordan E. Cooper will also be part of the cast. Directed by Nisha Ganatra and written by Jordan Weiss,
