The bishop filed a $360 million lawsuit against the YouTuber, claiming that she defamed and slandered him. The lawsuit came after Tasha K made some allegations against the Bishop. These allegations include the claim that Lamor Whitehead attempted to use the blogger as leverage to frighten a witness in a criminal case, used $10 to purchase a $2 million mansion, and transferred a church's building to himself. In addition, Whitehead accused Tasha K of making fraudulent claims about the purchase of the church. Tasha allegedly claimed that when the church was purchased, Whitehead knew the proprietors. He instructed the owners to transfer the deed into his name, and he would take care of the financing, as the owners needed the church refinanced but lacked the credit. She further asserted that after the transaction was executed, Lamor Whitehead drove the owners off the land during the procedure. According to Whitehead, Tasha K also asserted that his assets were frozen and the government was going to GAG him. Whitehead then claimed Tasha K's statements were false. The Bishop further said Tasha K went on to claim that Foxy Brown gave him the signals to pull off the fraudulent actions. Tasha K's show's producers, Yelen Entertainment, swiftly refuted the accusations, claiming that numerous statements were "fair and true" and were therefore exempt from defamation lawsuits. They also contended that most of the contested claims are opinions, future-speculative statements, or the use of ambiguous or exaggerated language. Later, the well-known YouTuber won the lawsuit in a New York court on Tuesday, August 6. The North Carolina Beat was informed by sources that Tasha K is immune from Whitehead's lawsuit due to her 2011 Chapter 7 Bankruptcy filing in Maryland. He requested $100,000,000 in punitive or exemplary damages for each of the three counts of defamation, slander, and right of privacy, in addition to $20,000,000 in actual damages on each of those counts. The sources further stated that once the case was transferred from New York State Court to the Eastern District of New York Federal Court, he continued with his lawsuit despite Tasha K filing bankruptcy.
