On this episode of Real Housewives of Orange County, Katie is coming for Heather with some proof… but can we all agree that a simple “yes” in a text message does not constitute said proof? Who cares (besides Katie) if Heather really called the paparazzi on herself, and why does Katie feel the need to bring up a rumor that was SO last season? I guess some things just don’t stay in the past, like Jenn‘s financial problems and John Janssen, who somehow keeps making Shannon‘s life hell… Over at their L.A. penthouse, Heather and Terry casually mention how their new house is right by Drake’s, flaunting their wealth without saying it outright…. classy or pretentious? After talking about being rich indirectly, Heather fills Terry in on the flag football game. She realizes that many of the ladies are avoiding each other, but she is grateful to be in a good place with everyone (talk about foreshadowing). Heather feels like since Terry’s stroke, all the little things have been put into perspective, and she is more about celebrating the life they have, together. Tamra invites her “core group” (ya know, Katie, Emily, Gina, and Jenn) out in a party bus. Upon picking Katie up, Emily chooses to pee OUTSIDE of Katie’s home, rather than use the bathroom inside, which is an interesting choice considering Emily is just getting to know Katie. What a look. When they arrive at the dive bar, they settle in with their espresso martinis (LOL), and Emily immediately spills what Katie told her.  She lets the ladies know that Katie’s friend claims that Heather called the paparazzi on herself in Disney, snapping that memorable (not staged at all) shot. This was a rumor that swirled last year, but Katie claims she has proof in a screenshot. So, Katie is ready to fight with Heather?? Katie goes on to say she obsessively followed Heather’s moves since last year saw the rumor about Heather calling the paps in the press, and so she reached out to her friend, who happens to also be on speed dial for Kim K. Katie’s evidence proves that Heather should just admit she called them on herself. Katie is tired of Heather’s weird antics. For instance, why did Heather tag Katie in an IG post when she doesn’t even follow Katie? Of course, Heather blames this on her “social media person” and a mistype, but Katie is tired of Heather not owning her sh*t. As Tamra, Emily, and Jenn bum rush the bar for their own rendition of Coyote Ugly, Gina stays back with Katie, warning her that telling the group was a bad move. After the others finish dancing on the bar, Gina talks to Emily about the Heather situation again. Emily states that Katie needs to focus and drink a protein shake cause “Heather’s gonna destroy her.” Meanwhile, over at Shannon’s place, a familiar face pays her a visit: Vicki. Vicki, an oversharer from way back, tells us all about her staph infection (I’ll spare you the details), but she refuses to rest. She would prefer staying busy, even IF their “Tres Amigas” show is now down to “Dos Amigas” — thanks, Tamra. They are annoyed with Tamra and the fallout of her dropping out of the show, but they are determined to move forward. In other news, Shannon shares that she got a letter from a lawyer that she owes John $75,000 dollars. Vicki is aghast and calls John a jerk since Shannon was always the one paying for everything.  It is clear John is trying to hurt Shannon… and didn’t think this one through. If this goes to court, it will cost both of them! Jenn is busy packing for Vegas and attempting to apply her own lashes. Take that, haters! Jenn worries if she should even post pictures about her trip to Vegas when everyone knows she is broke as a joke. She is tired of the judgment and fills Ryan in on how Emily took a jab at her.  Jenn doesn’t appreciate it and gets upset feeling like she is not “equivalent” to the other women.  We learn that on top of being evicted, Jenn is struggling to pay $133,000 worth of back rent to her yoga studio.  Turns out she had a VERBAL agreement with the then-landlord to pay less money for rent during covid… but when the new landlord came, that spelled trouble for Jenn.  Buuuut, let’s go to Vegas! Katie and her husband, Matt, are having a date night at Javier’s. Katie states she fell in love with her hubby at first sight, despite him standing her up on their first date. Katie hopes to shake Matt down for some pointers and help with her golfing event with the ladies.  And she’s also hoping for a more appropriate name for it since calling it “Drinking and Driving” was a little too close to home for this group of women.  Katie then fills her hubby in about Jenn and her adopted child. Jenn and Katie clicked over adoption stories; however, Jenn is trying to educate her son on his background, whereas Katie’s mom didn’t give her a chance to learn about hers. Later, Katie heads over to Gina’s. Gina talks about how weird it is to be in the house without Travis… in fact, it feels like they broke up. Katie does come donning gifts to wear to the golf party, and Gina uses that as a way to discuss the current situation with Heather. Gina is desperately trying to protect Heather, whereas Tamra and Emily laugh about the pap photos. Tamra and Emily also chat about Gina’s issue with their newfound friendship and point out that Gina has been hanging with Katie a lot. Gina feels caught in the middle now that Heather has “been caught” in a paparazzi lie, but Katie name-drops Cynthia Bailey and muddies the story about Heather even more.  Katie just feels like a lot of weird stuff has happened between her and Heather, and Gina states that if Katie doesn’t tell Heather about the paparazzi story, she certainly will. The next day, when Gina notices Jenn was in Vegas, she suggests that Jenn maybe should go to work and make a payment instead of posting her trip on Insta.  LOL to Emily and Gina musing if Jenn paid for professional makeup for the golf outing and the camera cutting to Jenn in glam. Katie is ready to show the ladies a little about the classy kind of balls… golf balls, that is.  Heather pulls Gina aside, who admits that Travis was basically trying to break up with her, but Gina asked him for more time… to let things settle. As the day wears on, it is evident that none of these women are good at golfing, especially Katie, which is surprising since golf is their family “passion.” After Emily beats the ladies in their game, Katie hosts a hot dog bar just for Heather, which is weird considering Katie has been spreading sh*t about Heather. Tamra can never keep her mouth shut so she outs Katie.  Tamra lets Heather know that Katie says Heather calls the paparazzi every time she goes out and that she has proof. In the meantime, Katie talks about how she is down for getting Heather to tell the truth, but as Shannon says, “Katie today will be a big learning lesson.” Katie then awkwardly approaches Heather, who points out that there was no weirdness until she heard from her friends that Katie is talking to them about the paparazzi thing. Katie starts with the whole Heather ignored her at a party thing, even though she looked at her Instagram, and I live for Heather saying that Katie is “not even a blip on” her radar. The shade.  When asked to see the proof Katie taunts, Katie whips out a text that answers a question with “yes.”  Heather promises that she has never called the paparazzi a day in her life, and she knows that there are apps that can make screenshots happen, but Katie poo poos this. Heather makes it clear she has no worries about this and wants Katie to stop using the word “lie.” Heather points out that it would be really great for Katie to MAKE friends when she enters a friend group. Doesn’t it seem like Katie is digging up things about Heather?  Heather ends the convo with, “I don’t even know you, Katie, and I don’t know if I want to.”  It really makes you wonder, just why is Katie so obsessed with Heather?
