Blake Lively gave her response after Taylor Swift referred to her husband Ryan Reynolds as a “sperm donor.”
The Gossip Girl star shared a post on her Instagram page to thank Taylor after she uploaded a review of Ryan’s new movie Deadpool & Wolverine – which hits cinemas today. Excited by Taylor’s hilarious post, Blake took to her stories as she gave her opinion on the unusual choice of words to describe Ryan.
Blake wrote: “Thank you @taylorswift for honoring my guy(s). I couldn’t have said it better myself. Which is unsurprising given that I have 14 less Grammys and not a single sold out stadium world tour.” Taylor and Blake have been best friends for several years.

Taylors own post featured an image of her, Blake, Ryan, Hugh Jackman, and movie director Shawn Levy. She wrote alongside the picture: “Over the past few years I have watched one of my best friends on this planet pour every bit of his heart, soul, sweat, time, energy, jokes, pain, joy, rebellion, darkness, and magic into this film.
“He’s created the best work of his life, and this film feels like an actual joy portal, a wild escape from reality, and an abs sandwich. I don’t know how he did it. But that’s just Hugh for you!” Continuing to joke she added: “These other randoms crashed the photo and we were too polite to ask them to leave.
“Deadpool and Wolverine is out TOMORROW! Here’s where to buy tickets if you like things that are unspeakably awesome.” She then added her cheeky reference to Ryan as she concluded: “Shout out to Wade Wilson, aka my godkids’ sperm donor!”
Seeing the funny side Ryan shared the post on his own Instagram as he wrote: “Omg, this may have just killed @thehughjackman.” Hugh then responded with a 100 emoji as Ryan replied with a skull emoji and the words “I’m also” to represent his own death.

The post comes after Blake branded Ryan “the most romantic man on the planet” when he facilitated a dream meeting with *NSYNC for her earlier in the week at the New York City premiere of the MCU movie. Blake couldn’t believe her luck as she posed alongside JC Chasez, Lance Bass, Chris Kirkpatrick and Joey Fatone.
Taking to Instagram the actress shared a picture of herself and Ryan posing with the boyband as she gushed over the meeting and praised hubby Ryan for facilitating it. “No one will ever know what this moment meant to me. No. One. Ever. I am living in a simulation. My face knows it. Happiest human ever.”
Blake then showed her sheer joy at the moment even more as she added: “Thank you @lancebass @realjoeyfatone @iamckirkpatrick @jcchasezofficial. And to my husband @vancityreynolds for being the most romantic person on the planet and making all of my dreams come true last night via @deadpoolmovie. 10 year old, and also 36 year old me is sobbing.”
