Eminem’s ex Kim Mathers seen with facial injury after mention on his new album

Eminem’s ex Kim Mathers has been seen with a mystery injury on her face while out running errands after being namechecked on his latest album.

Kim was seen wearing a plaster over the injury on her jawline with a bruise surrounding it on her left cheek. Kim, 49, was seen smoking a cigarette as she strolled across the car park to her local bank with the mark clearly visible on her face.

She cut a casual figure dressed in a black vest top wit grey joggers and black trainers. She added a blue bandana to her look with her spikey blonde hair tousled around it. Kim also accessorised with large dark sunglasses and a pink watch.

She was clutching her keys attached to a lanyard printed with the words Good Vibes and her mobile phone in the pictures obtained by The Sun. The outing comes after Kim was featured on a track on Eminem’s new album The Death of Slim Shady(Coup De Grace).

Eminem – real name Marshall Mathers – features Kim on the track Temporary alongside their daughter Hailie Jade, 29. Lyrics for the song read: “Daddy (Ooh) What? (Ooh) When, I used to have this when I was a little kid (Ooh) Baby, are you okay? (Ooh).”

Eminem has rarely mentioned Kim in his music for many years after he was sued by her for defamation following the aggressive verses delivered about her in song Kim. She claimed that the content in the track resulted in her attempting suicide after hearing his bitter rant.

However, in 2017 Eminem apologised to ex-wife Kim on his album Revival with the track Bad Husband. On the song he rapped: “We brought out the worst in each other/ Someone had to make the sparring end/ ‘Cause I loved you, but I hated that me/ And I don’t wanna see that side again / But I’m sorry, Kim/ More than you could ever comprehend.”

Kim and Eminem had a tumultuous relationship over the years and first married in 1999, but divorced two years later. They then went on to marry again in January 2006 but had split up again by April 2006.

Despite their difficult past the pair are now thought to be on good terms again and were even seen both in attendance at daughter Hailie’s wedding in Detroit. Eminem gave Hailie away at the ceremony where she wed Evan McClintock, with photos from the event showing them performing a touching father-and-daughter dance. Kim was spotted seated in the room of attendees away from Eminem.
