Travis Kelce has followed the Eras Tour all around the world — but his attendance at girlfriend Taylor Swift’s most recent show in Germany marked a special one.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 34, may have shocked the world with his surprise onstage appearance at Swift’s third London show at Wembley Stadium last month, but it was Kelce’s appearance at Gelsenkirchen’s Veltins Arena that contained a surprise Easter egg — as it marked his 13th show of the tour.
The number 13, as fans know, has long been Swift’s favorite: her birthday is December 13, 1989, and she’s incorporated it deep into fan lore since the beginning of her career. Travis himself has also commented on the numerology multiple times — most recently on an episode of his and brother Jason Kelce’s New Heights podcast, which they recently filmed in England’s capital while in town of Swift’s shows.
“13 + 87, I’m just sayin’, it works,” Travis, whose Chiefs number is 87, remarked at the time.

Travis — who was spotted having a great time at his girlfriend’s show in Germany — also attended Swift’s 87th show of the pop culture phenomenon that is the Eras Tour.
Swift, for her part, called it out at the time.
“Can you believe this is our 87th show of the Eras Tour?” she asked fans at one of her Paris shows in June, during which she performed several songs about her romance with the NFL star, including the surprise song “The Alchemy.”
While Travis’ attendance at Swift’s show in Germany marks his 13th time seeing his girlfriend this tour, there is one celebrity who has him beat. Comedian — and die-hard Swiftie — Nikki Glaser revealed earlier this month that she has already been to a whopping 17 Eras concerts in 15 months, and she’s not planning on slowing down anytime soon.
“I know it’s excessive, and I just don’t really know how to explain it other than when the tour was announced I was like I want to go to every show,” Glaser explained on Jimmy Kimmel Live on July 11, adding that she gets a “surge of dopamine that [she] can’t describe” during the concerts.
