Sky News’ Jacquie Beltrao revealed she was a “proud mum” as she took to Instagram with a sweet family post as she stood next to her son in a poignant picture to mark his successs.
The sports presenter revealed her youngest son Jorge had graduated from Durham University with a carousel of touching photos, as fans rushed to share their joy at the happy news.
Jacquie was all smiles and dressed the part as she posed with her son sporting a powder blue suit with a white top underneath.
Jorge also beamed with pride as he towered over the TV star and looked smart in a dark blue suit, a polka dot tie and light purple shirt.
The 59-year-old also paid tribute to the alumni with a touching caption, as she alerted her followers: “Proud mum post!
“@Jorgebeltrao_ graduated today with a First in Economics from Durham University – what a day!
“My heart is bursting – quite emotional day so glad I was here to be part of it – feel like @mreduardob and I are now releasing our youngest to the wild! Or something.”
Jacquie continued: “You’re brilliant Jorge and we love you so much – try not to grow any more.” The celebration turned out to be a family affair as the pair were joined by their two dogs.
Also in attendance was Jacquie’s husband Eduardo Beltrao and daughter Amelia, who followed in her mum’s footsteps as a TalkTV presenter.
However, it seemed the Sky News star’s eldest son Tiago was not in attendance as he didn’t appear in the adorable family photo. While Jacquie often uses social media to share work news, she regularly updates fans with family news.
Earlier this year, she shared an endearing photo of all three of her children who all grinned for the snap as she wrote: “My kids ‘slay.’”
