Actor and director Ben Affleck flipped out on paparazzi outside his Beverly Hills home June 23, after the photographers repeatedly flashed their cameras in his direction as he was driving, creating a dangerous situation, according to TMZ.
The “Dazed and Confused” actor was leaving the marital home that he shares with his wife, pop superstar Jennifer Lopez, when he exited his car to confront the paparazzi, according to the report, scolding them for creating distractions to his driving and potentially causing harm.
TMZ also reports that the Academy Award winner warned the photographers not to flash their cameras at his daughter, who would also be planning to drive down the street.
Affleck, 51, and Lopez, 54, “have been discussing divorce as an option,” according to a report in Us Weekly, after less than two years of wedded bliss. The couple, dubbed as “Benifer,” married in July 2022 and has been navigating personal challenges.
In May 2024, when JLo canceled her concert tour, Live Nation announced the “On the Floor” star is taking time “to be with her children, family and close friends.”
Amid marital tensions, Lopez and Affleck have been quietly trying to sell the $61 million Beverly Hills marital home they bought together in 2023.

The couple first reunited in May 2021 after a failed previous engagement to one another in 2003. It was in May 2021 when they were again repeatedly spotted together, following JLo’s April 15 break up from NY Yankees star Alex Rodriguez.
The couple were married in a Las Vegas wedding ceremony in July 2022 at the iconic Little White Chapel. The “Marry Me” star announced the nuptials in her newsletter to fans, On the JLo, which she signed “Mrs. Jennifer Lynn Affleck.”
Fans will recall that back in 2002, Affleck and JLo were engaged, but postponed their wedding in 2003, officially splitting up a year later. JLo also sought comfort from her post-break up blues at the time with ex-hubby Marc Anthony, with whom she shares twins, Max and Emme, 15.
Affleck shares three children, Violet, 17, Seraphina, 14, and Samuel, 11, with ex-wife Jennifer Garner.
