Love Actually’s child star Thomas Brodie-Sangster married St Trinian’s actress Talulah Riley in a ceremony on Friday and looked a million miles away from his baby-faced character in the hit romcom.

Thomas, 34, who played Sam in the 2003 romantic comedy, met 38-year-old Talulah on the set of Disney+ show Pistol, with the pair getting engaged in 2023.

The loved-up couple tied the not at St George’s Church in Hertfordshire, with Talulah wearing a stunning white gown, while Thomas looked suave in a blue tux.

Talulah confirmed their engagement last year on Twitter, sharing a selfie of the pair, showing off her ring. She wrote: “Very happy to share that after two years of dating, Thomas Brodie Sangster and I are engaged!”

Thomas wrote on Instagram: “Happy to announce that Talulah and I are engaged. Love is all around X” Talulah and Thomas played on-screen lovers in the Sex Pistols miniseries on Disney+, with Talulah playing fashion designer Vivienne Westwood and Thomas playing Pistols manager Malcolm McLaren. But they didn’t get into a relationship until after filming had finished.

Inception actress Talulah married billionaire Space-X entrepreneur Elon Musk in 2010, not just once, but twice in six years. They first tied the knot in 2010 to 2012, before divorcing and re-marrying in 2013. They divorced again in 2016 for good.

Speaking of their first date in a BBC documentary, Talulah said: “My first impressions were that he was very sweet, he seemed quite shy. He said ‘may I put my hand on your knee’ and I said, ‘OK go on then’, I thought it was quite sweet that he asked.”

She continued: “He said I don’t usually do this but I’d love to see you tomorrow can we meet for breakfast. So we had breakfast. And at the end of breakfast he said would you come and have lunch with me so we went for lunch. And then he said would you come for dinner.”

Ashlee Vance, who wrote the 2015 biography Elon Musk: Tesla, SpaceX, and the Quest for a Fantastic Future, detailed the South African businessman’s third date with his ex-wife.

As reported by Daily Star, she wrote: “The couple had lunch the next day and then went to the White Cube, a modern art gallery, and then back to Musk’s hotel room. Musk told Riley, a virgin, that he wanted to show her his rockets.”

Riley is claimed to have said: “I was sceptical, but he did actually show me rocket videos. Once.”

Talulah also dated Matthew Rice following the end of his 30-year marriage to ceramics designer Emma Bridgewater, just before she started seeing Thomas.

A source told Mail Online at the time: “Talulah and Matthew were on-off for a long time, but it seems that romance fell by the wayside to make room for Thomas…

“Talulah was dating Matthew right up until the spring, and he’s still a little shocked and saddened it has all ended between them.”
