The paparazzi culture is quite strong in India. Wherever celebs go, paparazzi follow! Every day, fans get to see glimpses of top celebrities on social media as paparazzi follow their every move. But are the paparazzi called by the Ambanis when they organise for major events? Nita Ambani and Mukesh Ambani often organise big, lavish events that see who’s who from Bollywood, politics, cricket and other industries marking their attendance. Be it festivals or wedding events of their children, an Ambani party is always bigger than the previous. And well, there is always paparazzi stationed outside to click pictures. So are they called?

Virendra Chawla, a well-known photographer in the industry recently conducted an Ask Me Anything session on Reddit. He made quite a few revelations about many Bollywood celebrities. He named who is the most rude of all, as well as, who are the sweetest and his favourite. When it comes to Ambanis, he was asked whether the Ambanis call the paps. To this, he reacted saying, “Do you think they need to call paps, lol.” The paparazzo also revealed whether the celebrities call them to get their pictures clicked. Virendra Chawla wrote that during promotions, the paparazzi are called. However, when at restaurant, gyms and all, paparazzi majorly follow the celebs. He said, “But in restaurants, gym, clinic etc our team follows their car and then goes to the site following.” He even shared that paparazzi get tips from waiters and hotel staff whenever a celebrity pays a visit. In fact, he even revealed that some of the beggars also have numbers of the paparazzi and they call them giving tips about celebrities’ whereabouts. Now this is something new, isn’t it?
Virendra Chawla was also asked whether there have been instances when he has been asked to delete a picture or a video of a celebrity. He recalled an incident involving Karan Singh Grover. He shared that there was a video in which he showed the middle finger to the paparazzi, however, wasn’t shared as his team asked paparazzi not to. He also revealed his most and least favourite celebrities, who is rudest among all. And also shared about Gen-Z stars.
