Jennifer Lopez has been hit with “diva behaviour” claims as insiders alleged the star has a bizarre “no eye contact” rule.
The 54-year-old, who is still reeling from being forced to cancel her upcoming tour, is facing allegations that she’s difficult to work with, as people shared their stories of their bad experiences with the Jenny From The Block hitmaker on social media. Following US TV personality Meghan McCain’s recent outburst about JLo, in which she claimed the singer was “unpleasant”, more accusations have been aimed at the Hustlers star.
JLo, who is also reportedly heading for divorce with husband Ben Affleck amid serious marital woes, is said to have a “no eye contact rule” for crew members or other hired employees, and one insider claimed the singer is strict about who gets to look at her.

“A friend of ours worked lighting backstage at one of her concerts. All of the workers were strictly instructed: DO. NOT.LOOK. AT. MS. LOPEZ. There’s to be NO. EYE. CONTACT,” one posted on Twitter/X.
“I knew people who worked at Mohegan Sun (a US casino) and they were instructed to totally avoid eye contact with J Diva. They still laugh about her to this day because far bigger celebs have appeared there that have been far more gracious and friendly,” they alleged. “Per my insider friend, her limo drivers were instructed the same, they couldn’t even look at her in their rear view mirrors,” another claimed.
Others took to TikTok to share their stories of JLo’s diva behaviour, with one posting: “I have a friend who worked audio on a JLo project, and she had him kicked out. Stopped the whole production and everything because he looked her in the eyes. I have like 15 more stories like this,” they alleged. Another former insider claimed that they worked at a ski resort in California when JLo arrived to film a commercial for a car company. “We received a notice at the front desk at the resort that we were to make zero eye contact with her. Can you believe it!!??” they fumed.
The Mirror has approached Jennifer’s rep for comment.

Earlier this week, TV personality Meghan McCain alleged JLo was “deeply unpleasant” to her when she was a guest on The View. During an episode of her Citizen McCain podcast, Meghan claimed JLo’s behaviour was surprising when she appeared on the US talk show, and said the singer had a reputation for being unkind.
“She just is a deeply unpleasant person… It was just surprising given that people like Kim Kardashian couldn’t be more delightful. Also, when you’re coming on a show for a 10-minute segment… just fake it ’till you make it for 10 f**king minutes,” she fired.
