Daisy May Cooper has revealed that she has welcomed her third child, “a bit earlier than we expected.”

The 37-year-old This Country star revealed on Instagram that she had given birth on Thursday to a baby boy, who she has named Benji. He is Daisy’s first child with boyfriend Anthony Huggins, 45, after having two children, daughter Pip, five, and son Jack, three, with ex-husband Will Weston.

Daisy shared a video on Instagram in which she said that her son had arrived and thanked those who helped deliver him safely, after he arrived earlier than planned. Speaking on the video, in which she is in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Daisy said: “What a bloody week… You came a bit earlier than we expected and gave me the worst post op constipation that i nearly had to phone the samaratins but my god you are perfect.”

The Bristol DJ, who plays shows under the name of ‘Fuse One’, has reportedly moved into Daisy’s home in the Cotswolds and a source close to the couple told The Sun previously: “The pair have been going strong, so the addition of a baby will only bring them closer together. Daisy is very happy and becoming a mum again what she is focusing on right now. She was living in Cotswolds and ready to start this new chapter.”

The couple’s first public appearance in the spotlight was at the BAFTA TV Awards in May but they were photographed at a car boot in Cheltenham previously. Speaking about their relationship, Daisy told Fabulous Mag: “Now I understand a relationship shouldn’t be rowing at 3am, then walking out and turning your phone off. That’s not what love is. Love is being able to live together on a day-to-day basis, enjoying each other’s company, being completely yourself and having that accepted. He doesn’t want to compete with me. He earns £1,500 a month and he’s the sweetest, kindest, most chilled-out man.”
