The cameraman who stumbled upon a body during the search for popular This Morning contributor Dr. Michael Mosley has been left in tears during a heartfelt interview, where he extended his sympathies to the doctor's family.In a tragic turn of events reported today (Sunday, June 9), authorities confirmed the discovery of a body amidst the intensive search for the beloved TV doctor. Michael Mosley, known for his frequent appearances on programmes such as This Morning, had gone missing earlier in the week while hiking on a Greek island during a holiday with his wife, Clare.The grim find was made near Agia Marina on Symi, where the body, believed to have lain undiscovered for several days, was located in a rugged terrain following a widespread operation by rescue teams. The discovery came just hours after Michael's wife Clare voiced her enduring hope, stating: "We will not lose hope."Speaking to Sky News, Antonios, the local cameraman who discovered the body this morning, was visibly distraught as he recounted the moment they realised the deceased matched Dr. Michael Mosley's description.He described how they captured an image from the camera screen using an iPhone and upon enlarging it, could "clearly see" a man "lying down" with "his hand on his belly".He said: "The description is exactly of the guy we were looking for.", reports the Mirror.Tears followed as he expressed his deep regret to the family, saying: "I'm really sorry for the family, I'm sorry that I'm the one to find him. I wish we had better news."In response to the Sky shared video interview, one social media user wrote: "This is a tragic and heartbreaking situation. Our thoughts are with the family and loved ones of Dr. Michael Mosley. We hope that they are able to find some comfort and peace during this difficult time."Another commented: "This is just too sad. I really feel for his family and the people who found him."A third individual remarked: "So very sad, seemingly so close to getting help and shelter too at Agia Marina.
