Superhit director David Dhawan on Monday informed media that celebrity couple Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal recently became proud parents of a baby girl. The 72-year-old filmmaker shared the news with paparazzi outside the Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai.

New Delhi: Bollywood hunk Varun Dhawan and his wife Natasha Dalal recently welcomed a baby girl. The news was confirmed by blockbuster filmmaker David Dhawan on Monday (June 3, 2024). The couple has not posted about the arrival of their little baby girl on social media yet.
Varun, Natasha welcome baby girl
On Tuesday (June 3, 2024), Varun Dhawan officially announced the arrival of his daughter on Instagram. He wrote, “Our baby girl is here . Thank u for all the good wishes for the mama and the baby. हरे राम हरे राम, राम राम हरे हरे कृष्ण हरे कृष्ण कृष्ण कृष्ण हरे हरे ।” He shared an adorable video with the words “Baby Dhawan”.
Varun Dhawan’s father, filmmaker David Dhawan was the first to confirm the news as he left the left the Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai last night. Varun and David were spotted outside the hospital when David shared the happy news about the arrival of ‘laxmi’ in their home with paparazzi. Varun came to drop his father to his car and waved at the paparazzi and went inside. Varun’s mother was also spotted outside the hospital and thanked media photographers stationed outside the hospital as they congratulated her on birth of Varun’s daughter. Varun’s sister-in-law Janhvi Dhawan was also seen leaving the hospital.

Along with fans, Varun’s colleagues also took to Instagram to wish the actor on arrival of baby girl. Karan Johar wrote, “My baby had a baby girl!!!! I am over the moooooooon!!!! Congratulations to the proud mama and papa!!! Love you Natasha and Varun.”
Arjun Kapoor wrote, “Baby John had a baby !!! Papa number 1 casting is now locked finally !!! Congratulations Natasha & @varundvn Niyara Abheer & Joey have a sister….”
About Varun, Natasha
Earlier this year, Varun and Natasha shared the good news about expecting their firts child. The couple posted a beautiful picture, where Varun was seen planting a kiss on Natasha’s baby bump. He simply wrote, “We are pregnant, Need all your blessings and love #myfamilymystrenght.”
Varun and Natasha tied the knot on January 24, 2021. The wedding was a close-knit affair with a very few in attendance due to Covid-19.
Work front
Meanwhile, on the work front, Varun will be next seen in the upcoming film Baby John, directed by A Kaleeswaran and presented by Atlee. He also has the Indian adaptation of the Hollywood series Citadel along side Samantha Ruth Prabhu. He will also be seen in Sunny Sanskari ki Tulsi Kumari with Janhvi Kapoor, alongside Sanya Malhotra, Rohit Saraf, Maniesh Paul, and Akshay Oberoi. The film is slated to hit theaters on April 18, 2025.
