Demi Moore appears to be enjoying a blossoming friendship with none other than Joe Jonas, according to sources and photos.
The 61-year-old actress and the 34-year-old singer met in the South of France during the Cannes Film Festival last month. A source revealed to Page Six, “Demi and Joe have struck up a friendship. They have mutual friends and they bonded,” adding that they were seen having lunch together at the exclusive Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes, France.
Rumors of romance were quickly dispelled by the insider, emphasizing that the relationship is purely friendly. During Cannes, Moore, who was promoting her horror film The Substance, hosted the amfAR gala where Jonas made a surprise appearance onstage with his brother Nick, performing their hit “Cake by the Ocean.” Moore was spotted dancing with Michelle Yeoh during the event.

The friendship comes after Joe’s split from model Stormi Bree. He has been focusing on his solo album while sharing vacation photos from the One&Only Portonovi resort in Montenegro. Moore, recently seen at Cartier’s High Jewelry masquerade ball in Vienna, remains single since her 2011 divorce from Ashton Kutcher and maintains a close relationship with her ex-husband Bruce Willis, who is battling frontotemporal dementia.
Jonas’s recent split from Sophie Turner has also been in the spotlight. The couple, who share daughters Willa, 3, and Delphine, 1, called off their marriage last September and have been negotiating custody arrangements. In an interview with Vogue UK, Turner revealed that Taylor Swift provided her and her two young daughters with a safe haven in her New York City apartment amidst the divorce turmoil. Turner expressed immense gratitude, stating, “I’ve never been more grateful to anyone than I am for her because she took my children and me, and provided us with a home and a safe space.” The two were even photographed dining together in NYC during this period.
As far as Moore and Jonas go, representatives were unavailable for comment.
