Jennifer Lopez has canceled her upcoming This is Me… Live tour as rumors of tension in her marriage to Ben Affleck only continue to heat up.
Lopez shared the update on Friday, May 31, via her official website, revealing her reason for doing so is to “be with her children, family and close friends.” The Grammy winner, 54, shares 16-year-old twins Max and Emme with ex-husband Marc Anthony.
The statement continued with more personal notes from Lopez, who told fans she is “completely heartsick and devastated about letting you down.”
“Please know that I wouldn’t do this if I didn’t feel that it was absolutely necessary,” the “Let’s Get Loud” singer pleaded in her message. “I promise I will make it up to you and we will all be together again. I love you all so much. Until next time…”
The tour, which was supposed to kick off on June 26 in Orlando, had been suffering from poor ticket sales for months. In fact, Lopez had previously canceled seven dates — Cleveland, Nashville, Raleigh, Atlanta, Tampa, New Orleans and Houston — back in March, according to Variety.

Lopez, of course, has also been going through the wringer when it comes to alleged marital strife. She and Affleck — whom she wed in 2022 after reuniting nearly 20 years after their initial romance in the early 2000s — have reportedly been living apart as they find themselves at odds within their relationship.
“She likes to open her heart to her fans and to the world,” a source told People of Lopez earlier this month. “He is more introspective and private. This has been difficult day-to-day.”
According to an Entertainment Tonight source, Lopez “has been experiencing ups and downs while processing everything” in her personal life and career. “She has been throwing herself into work, which has always been an outlet for her to stay busy and distracted.”
As the pair continue to do their own things career-wise — Lopez has been flying solo for Atlas promo, while Affleck has been filming The Accountant 2 — they have also been photographed attending family events together amid the alleged drama, even holding hands (while appearing tense) at Affleck’s daughter Violet’s recent high school graduation celebrations.
In addition to the cancellation of Lopez’s summer tour, there is talk that her upcoming Vegas residency is also in jeopardy due to poor ticket sales.
