Ben Affleck attended his daughter Violet’s high school graduation party alone on the weekend of May 25 amidst swirling rumors of a split from Jennifer Lopez.
The Accountant actor appeared slightly somber as he arrived at the event in Los Angeles over Memorial Day weekend, dressed in a beige blazer, white button-down, blue jeans, and boots.
Violet, Affleck’s 18-year-old daughter with ex-wife Jennifer Garner, had just graduated highschool the week prior. Garner celebrated the milestone by sharing emotional photos from the ceremony on May 20, captioning, “Tell me you have a graduate without telling me you have a graduate. 🎓 (bless our hearts ♥️🤣).” Garner and Affleck, who divorced in 2018, also share two other children, Fin, 15, and Samuel, 12.
Meanwhile, Lopez, who shares 16-year-old twins Max and Emme with ex-husband Marc Anthony, was notably absent from the graduation festivities. Rumors have been circulating that Affleck and Lopez are heading for divorce, with sources indicating they are living separately and struggling to make their marriage work. A source told Page Six, “If there was a way to divorce on grounds of temporary insanity, he would,” adding that Affleck feels the last two years were a “fever dream.”

Speculation about their relationship troubles intensified when Affleck, 51, missed the Met Gala, did not attend the premiere of Lopez’s movie Atlas, and was recently seen without his wedding ring. The actor has also been seen going to and from a Brentwood, California home, which is not the home he shares with JLo, 54.
Lopez has also avoided addressing questions about their marriage at public events. During a press conference in Mexico for her new Netflix film, Lopez seemingly addressed rumors about her marriage to Affleck. “You know better than that,” the “OnThe Floor” singer responded to a press question about her marriage, while her co-star Simu Liu intervened, saying, “OK, we’re not doing that. Come on, don’t come in here with that energy, please. Thank you so much.”
