PENSACOLA, Fla. -- The 31-year-old man charged in last weekend's Pensacola night club shooting will remain in jail without bond.Jovon Booker appeared in court Thursday where a judge denied his bond. He's charged with attempted murder and firing a deadly missile inside a building.Police say Booker shot a 36-year-old man three times Sunday night inside Paparazzi night club. He was then arrested Wednesday.The victim's family spoke to the court on Thursday, asking the judge to keep Booker behind bars."This man literally tried to kill my son," the victim's mother said. "He still tried to shoot my son while my son was on the ground. If ya'll don't stop this right now, if ya'll don't show these people -- all this shooting got to stop."The victim has been hospitalized, but is expected to survive.A second person was also grazed by the bullet in the shooting.Booker is expected back in court on Tuesday.

The victim’s family spoke to the court on Thursday, asking the judge to keep Booker behind bars.

“This man literally tried to kill my son,” the victim’s mother said. “He still tried to shoot my son while my son was on the ground. If ya’ll don’t stop this right now, if ya’ll don’t show these people — all this shooting got to stop.”
