Furthermore, the paparazzi yelled directions at the group, with one yelling "everyone jump," before another sarcastically asked, "How do you say right in Korean."As if that wasn't enough, when Stray Kids did their outfit reveal, the paparazzi could clearly be heard negatively groaning, "Ugh, now we got to do it (click pics) again." On pap also commented that Stray Kids could be confused for two groups due to their with and without jackets snaps.This attitude didn't fly with Stray Kids' fans who were quick to call out Met Gala's organizers and the paparazzi. "This shouldn't happen to anyone. The way they treating Stray Kids by making all those racist and disrespectful remarks towards them is unacceptable. #MetGala2024 Committee should take action towards those photographers for that disgusting acts," one fan wrote. Another added, "I am so upset. The fashion industry is still so racist. It’s gotten slightly more accepting because of how big K-pop has gotten, but you can tell that people still don’t respect Asian artists. Stray Kids deserved better.
