Khloe Kardashian posted a cryptic social media post shortly after it was confirmed her ex Tristan Thompson will need to pay thousands in back child support.

The basketball star, 33, has reportedly been ordered to pay the mom of his other child $57k (£45k) after he was said to have fallen behind in his child payments. A judge is said to have told the sportsman to pay up on his duties.

Shortly after the news broke, reality star Khloe, who shares two children with Tristan, shared a message on her Instagram page.

She posted: “Tonight, I’m praying for everyone who feels overwhelmed. With work, with love, with life. Be gentle with yourself and take it one day at a time. You got this.”

It came a day after another message in which she mentioned “worries and fears” following Tristan’s court order. Her initial post read: “God is saying to you: you’re not reading this by accident. Stop worrying about it. I made a way for you last time, and I will make a way this time, and I will surely do it again.”

The cryptic post continued: “Get up and start your day. Whatever you are worried about, I have a plan. I am bigger than your fears. I’m with you. I’m stronger than the obstacles in front of you.”

While Tristan may have been ordered to pay back dated child care, he has also recently become the legal guardian for his brother Amari following the death of their mum.

Andrea passed away a year ago and left Amari in Tristan’s care. The NBA star has now been granted sole guardianship of the 17 year old by the Los Angeles County Superior Court.

Tristan, initially filed for temporary guardianship in September last year after he claimed their father, Trevor, has been absent and not involved in raising Amari – who suffers from epilepsy amongst other medical issues – since 2014.

The court documents for the case said: “The Court finds that it is not in the Minor best interest to be returned to his/her parents’ previous country of nationality.”
