Ross Carson proved to be one of the most iconic cast members of The Traitors season two, and his life behind the scenes is equally fascinating.

Viewers were gripped by the rich narrative arc of Ross’ time on the reality show, which many compared to the plot of Hamlet. The secret revelelation that Diane was indeed Ross’ mum, delivered with the now legendary line ‘…but Ross is’, had fans screaming at the telly.

Things only got more dramatic after Diane was callously dispatched by The Traitors with a glass of sparkling rosé, naming Miles as her killer moments before hopping into her coffin. After Ross later got recruited by the Traitors, viewers were keen to see him take revenge for his mum’s ‘death’ – but it was sadly not to be.

In a move that surprised many, Ross, 28, was banished following a round table discussion, just one day after donning his Traitors cloak. As he bows out of the show, we take a look at his life behind the scenes, including his famous actor brother and very glam creative career.

Ross and Diane aren’t the only members of their family with a talent for a theatrical flourish. Ross’ older brother Kerr Logan, 35, is a successful actor, best known for his portrayal of Matthos Seaworth, the son of Ser Davos on Game of Thrones. He’s also had parts in the 2017 mini series Alias Grace, and the 2013 comedy London Irish.

Expressing astonishment at the appearance of both his mum and brother on The Traitors, a flabbergasted Kerr took to Instagram, writing: “My brother is on the traitors. My brother is on The Traitors. My brother and mother are on the traitors…… WHAT. IS. HAPPENING ?!?!?”

In a follow up post, Kerr, who learned about his family being cast along with the rest of the UK, used a Game of Thrones reference to discuss Ross’ vengeful hero arc. He wrote: “In the books Davos had more sons…… Mathos is dead but Rossus will avenge mother….”

Unfortunately, Ross’ Westeros-worthy plot was cut short just as it was reaching its climax, but fans will of course have many fond memories from his time in the show – including that fourth wall breaking wink.
