Former One Direction star Zayn Malik certainly went in the wrong direction as he exited a Paris fashion show and unfortunately had his foot run over when getting escorted through the crowd.
The singer — who shares a daughter with supermodel Gigi Hadid — attended the Kenzo show during Paris Fashion Week on Friday, with footage emerging of the 31-year-old shuffling through the crowd before a vehicle seemingly runs over his foot.
Malik posted to Instagram shortly after to assure fans he was okay and hadn’t suffered any injuries, sharing a photo of his hardly ruined white sneaker with faint scuff marks.
“@kenzo @nigo Thanks for a great show! My foot is fine !! Thanks to my incredibly well-made shoes,” the post read.
Fans flooded the comment section to wish him well after the scary incident.
“OMG, Is your foot okay? Who do I have to fight with?” One fan said.
MTV wrote: “Already the best moment of 2024.”
“Thank god I was worried about your toes, man,” another fan commented.
His appearance in Paris was his first major public outing in six years — with his last notable one in 2018 at Tom Ford’s New York Fashion Week show alongside his then-partner Hadid.
The couple welcomed their daughter Khai in 2020 and called it quits on their relationship in 2021.
