Love Island influencer Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury have been able to escape for a lavish getaway in the Maldives after their first Christmas as a three with daughter Bambi.
The couple, who met during Love Island 2019, have jetted off on the luxurious trip on Boxing Day. They originally planned the trip just for the two of them, but made a last minute decision to bring 11-month-old daughter Bambi with them so they could share her first New Year’s Eve together.
Mum Molly-Mae explained on her social media channel on YouTube that the idea of leaving Bambi with relatives and not bringing her was ‘breaking their hearts’.
The model and influencer explained: “To be completely honest and 100% real with you, originally it was meant to be just Tommy and me going for a romantic holiday and our present to each other for Christmas. As it got closer and the holiday came around, we were both saying we didn’t feel comfortable with the idea of spending New Year’s away from Bambi. That was breaking both of our hearts.”
The couple have shared lots of snaps from their trip, including flying first class to the stunning resort although Bambi cheekily took over mum Molly-Mae’s seat leaving the star sat on the floor. The family of three have also shared pictures from their swanky resort as they enjoy the island with a water villa at The Ritz-Carlton on Fari Islands which comes with a private sun deck, infinity swimming pool, and steps that take them directly into the Indian Ocean. The suite doesn’t come cheap either, with an eye watering £2400 per night price tag. Included is a swanky goody bag too, including a bottle of Whispering Angel wine, a fan and a wash bag with the hotel’s luxury logo.
The getaway comes after the couple put on a united front with daughter Bambi for her first Christmas, and their first one as a family of three. The pair have been dogged by rumours of a split lately, but they brushed off the rumours as they shared a family snap with daughter Bambi to Instagram, with Molly captioning the picture, “365 days later” alongside Christmas emojis. The family snap was paired with one of Molly and Tommy from last year, with Molly heavily pregnant at the time.
The family snap comes after Molly-Mae and Tommy were plagued with rumours and gossip that they’d split and called time on their engagement. The pair’s relationship was subject to split rumours recently after Molly was spotted without her engagement ring following footage of the boxer partying with other women.
Previously Molly-Mae addressed the rumours and talk around her relationship as she told her social media followers: “What I would say, having a relationship in the public eye, you deal with things that people in private relationships deal with but obviously everyone is commenting on it and everyone sees it and everyone’s all eyes, it’s like a fishbowl, that’s quite tricky.
“Things that people deal with in private or maybe they don’t deal with it, everyone has different things they deal with in their relationship and lives, sometimes it’s tricky that things aren’t always going to be perfect and aren’t always going to be sunshine and roses – but when they aren’t you have millions of people giving their opinion on it and talking about it.”
