Former The Only Way Is Essex star Sam Faiers has been accused of ‘boasting’ about her wealth after she revealed she’s had seven trips to Lapland UK.

The Christmas themed experience in Ascot promises “a fully immersive theatrical experience for the whole family” and includes a Santa workshop, reindeer, a toy factory and magical forest. Each trip costs £140 a ticket for the Christmas attraction, with Sam attending alongside partner Paul Knightly and their children Paul, seven, Rosie, six, and one-year-old Edward.

As Sam shared snaps of herself and her family enjoying the festive day out, she told fans the experience was “magical in every way”.

Writing on Instagram, Sam told fans: “Our family tradition.. I can’t believe this is our 7th year visiting @laplanduk. Magical in every way.” However some of Sam’s followers hit back at the influencer and mum of three for the post as they branded it ‘insensitive’.

One person wrote: “Perhaps next year Sam could donate tickets to a family that isn’t as privileged.” A second one added: “OK to post pictures of Lapland but to make a point of saying it’s the 7th time is a little unfair.” A third wrote: “Love your family but some people would like to take their little one’s once.”

However some fans have defended the mum of three, as one wrote: “If you’re not happy seeing this, then unfollow Sam, simple. No need to hate on people just because of what they spend their own money on. If you could you would.” Another echoed their thoughts as they added: “Jealousy is the root of all that is bad in this world! You do you and don’t worry about what others are doing!”

The Lapland UK post comes after earlier this year it was revealed that Sam’s business success had netted the star a whopping £13.2 million in three years for her brand Revive Collagen. The brand has celebrity fans including Oti Mabuse, Paloma Faith and Amanda Holden and was reportedly built by Sam “from the ground up” alongside her business partner. sam has worked alongside entrepreneur John Bailey, who is known for his business skills and has helped Sam across her multiple business ventures to earn close to £20 million as a result.

Describing the star as “a savvy businesswoman” who started the company in lockdown, a source told the MailOnline: “She took no external investment and built the business from the ground up with her business partner. With the business being profitable from day one and set to launch across the US next month, she firmly has her eyes set on becoming the global market leader in ingestible collagen. Whilst she’s had a couple of business failures along the way, she’s definitely struck gold with Revive Collagen.”
