ITV’s I’m A Celebrity has angered viewers who have labelled the show as being ‘fixed’ after a Bushtucker Trial saw all celebrities receive their letters from home.

Viewers watched on Sunday night (3 December) as all ten celebrities in camp received messages from home after each campmate successfully navigated the trial. The task involved balancing a ball along a set of pipes and guiding it into a hole before the letters were shredded.

All celebrities managed to complete the task, sparking viewers to claim the show is a ‘fix’ with the task being “blatantly rigged” so no campmate would fail.

Speaking after the trial aired, disgruntled fans took to social media to vent. Speaking on Twitter/X, one fan wrote: “That trial was fixed so they all had their letters 100% #ImACeleb.”

Another shared: “#ImACeleb rigged bulls**t …a blindfolded dog could do this trial.” A third raged: “That trial was rigged, how did Nella know exactly where to go in the dark, very convenient and well edited #ImACeleb.” Another added: “They’ve definitely rigged that on purpose #imaceleb.”

After each celebrity received their letter, they were seen getting visibly emotional over the words from home.

The episode also saw jockey Frankie Dettori become the first celebrity to be eliminated and sent home. In his first in-depth interview since leaving camp, Frankie blamed the show’s editing for his early exit, but insisted he had no regrets.

He told the Mirror in an exclusive interview: “It all depends how it is edited to the programme. But you know what? To me I have come out of there as a winner. I challenged myself. I passed every challenge. And, I like to say it could have been two weeks or three weeks, it wouldn’t have made no difference. I just felt like I did everything I wanted to achieve and I’m very proud of what I did.

“Going to the jungle it’s not a race when you are actually in control. It’s the public in control. It’s the media, it’s the social media. I mean, I feel like a winner because every challenge I took, I did it and I took it head on I never ducked out to anything.”
