I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here is facing fresh backlash after one star received a pep talk from show bosses after struggling in the jungle, it has been reported.
Nigel Farage’s pals have criticised the show for reportedly giving some celebrities ‘preferential treatment.’ This year’s series, a few stars have had a difficult time in camp including Jamie Lynn Spears and Nella Rose, who clashed with a few of her campmates. It has been claimed that bosses have had to intervene to remind the 26-year-old social media influencer and vlogger to ‘enjoy herself’ instead of being caught up in heated rows.
The Youtuber star has recently had a fallout with Fred Sirieix and was later seen embroiled in an awkward clash with Farage as she confronted him over his anti-immigration views and cultural appropriation. Now, Farage’s close pals believe ITV has broken its own rules’ by stepping in and advising struggling campmates.

They told the Sun: “It was obvious to everyone that Nella had a sudden personality transplant almost overnight. Nigel is just being his authentic self whilst reports now suggest some contestants are being advised by the production team. We are watching this very closely as we believe it breaks ITV’s own rules – how many other celebrities are getting preferential treatment?”
Since entering the camp, Nella participated in a ghastly eating trial and several other challenges with her fellow celebrities. However recently Nella went missing from camp and was exempt from taking part in the next trial due to medical reasons. Dec said: “Now unfortunately, Nella is being seen by the medic so she’ll be back later, but it means she’s now exempt from this trial. So let’s go in there and see who will be doing it.”
However, some viewers raised suspicion over exemption, believing that she faked her illness. Taking to X, formerly Twitter, one viewer said: “Catching up with #ImaCeleb – how convenient that #Nella needs to see a medic just before she’s obviously going to be made to do another trial. Get her out of there.” Another person added: “Nella going to see camp doctor just before the trial is chosen hahahahaha I wonder what for #ImaCeleb.” But, a friend of the YouTube star told the Mirror these claims were “unfair” and “untrue.”
A friend of Nella’s refuted the claims and told The Mirror: “The idea that she was faking or trying to get out of the trial is unfair and untrue. It was a minor medical emergency and it happened just before the show. They had to take her off to get looked at and couldn’t get her back in time for the trial reveal.”
