On Tuesday night, the duo was snapped by the paparazzi as they stepped out for a dinner date with Soni Razdan and Shaheen Bhatt. However, soon after a video surfaced on the internet, Alia’s fans noticed that the actress was addressed as “RK’s wife” in the caption of the clip and that made them angry.
Numerous fans of Alia expressed disappointment with the video and reminded that she is a self-made actress.“Can’t you write Ranbir and Alia or Alia and Ranbir?” one of the users wrote. “She is Alia Bhatt…..Kabhi Raha’s mom Kabhi RK’s wife..take a break man,” another fan expressed his anger. “Both are famous and successful actors and you described Alia as Ranbir’s wife? she has a name, Alia Bhatt,” a fan commented.
A few months back, Alia Bhatt was honoured with the Best Actress National Award for her performance in the movie ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’. Kriti Sanon also received the award for her 2021 movie ‘Mimi’. For the ceremony, Alia wore the hand-dyed ivory organza sari embroidered with fine tilla work from her wedding with Ranbir Kapoor in 2022.
On the work front, Alia Bhatt was last seen in Karan Johar’s ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’ opposite Ranveer Singh. She is currently working on her upcoming movie titled ‘Jigra’. Directed by Vasan Bala, the film was announced in September this year. Recently, the actress talked about Jigra and said it is a story of courage, passion and determination.
