Jamie-Lynn Spears was apparently hoping to launch a “sister talkshow” with her elder sibling and global superstar Britney Spears, the Baby One More Time has claimed in her recent memoir The Woman In Me.
In a particularly poignant passage, Britney, 41, described her family staying with her after she recently came out of a mental health facility.
Britney recalled how during this period her family were acting as if she hadn’t just “endured an almost unbearable trauma”.
The singer also said at this time Jamie Lynn, 32, and her father Jamie Spears were attending numerous TV show meetings in Los Angeles.
After coming back from these Hollywood meetings, Britney said Jamie Lynn would be “loud and happy”.

Following one such meeting, Britney claimed Jamie Lynn tried to suggest the pair should do a “sister talk show”.
Britney wrote: “Every time she spoke it was a new scheme. A sitcom! A rom-com!
“She talked for what felt like hours at a time while I looked at the floor and listened.”
Britney said she would simply think about what was going on as she struggled to cope.
The Stronger songstress’ book came out back in October, not long after Jamie Lynn appeared on Dancing With The Stars.
However, her stint was a brief one before she made an exit in the second week of the competition amid Britney fans being left furious by her appearance on the show.
More recently, Jamie Lynn has appeared on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! as part of the original line-up going into the jungle Down Under.
Jamie Lynn shed some light on her relationship with Britney, saying she’d spoken to her famous sister before taking part in the ITV series.
The Zoey 101 star claimed: “I think every family fights and has their stuff but I talked to her before I came here and we love each other.”
Despite this, Britney appeared to subtly throw shade on her younger sister on Instagram.
Britney posted a picture of the irrational number Pi after Jamie Lynn struggled with a simple sum when having to add 62 and 32 together.
Daily Express has approached representatives for Jamie Lynn Spears for comment on this story.
