Nella Rose will likely regret her run-in with Fred Sirieix after her exit from I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, says This Morning’s Alison Hammond.
Alison joined co-host Rylan Clark as they discussed the jungle antics alongside Fred’s First Dates co-stars on Thursday’s instalment of This Morning. Rylan admitted feeling “uncomfortable” watching Nella fall out with Fred after the YouTuber told him she felt “offended” by comments he made amid heartbreaking losses in her family.
Nella previously spoke about her father passing away in 2020, while she also sadly lost her mother when she was aged 19. Nella claimed Fred was aware of her family tragedy and that a comment he made to her in camp left her upset. The pair launched into a row as Nella told Fred: “I don’t want to eat your food, I don’t want to talk to you. We can just live, you live on that side, I live on this side.” She called him a “weirdo” for “bringing up her dead dad”.

The pair are still yet to make up, but Fred’s friend and co-star CiCi Coleman seemed to give Nella the benefit of the doubt, telling Rylan: “I think that they’re in that you’re in a pressure cooker. Right? You are with 10 people constantly. You’re not sleeping, you’re not eating. There’s a lot going on. So I think this kind of behaviour is going to happen. They are going to have moments where things are misconstrued and misunderstood and it’s normal, things will happen.”
While fellow First Dates waitress Laura Tott said: “I think it’s just a misunderstanding. And I think it’s really sad how it happened and it was so hard to watch. I was sat there like ‘oh god’ and it just my heart broke for him because I know how personally would have taken that like he’s gonna be so upset that he thinks he’s offended her.”
Alison joined in the conversation, suggesting Nella would regret the conversation, adding: “I think when Ella comes out, I think she’d be disappointed in the way maybe she reacted. But again, we don’t know what was going on in Nella’s head and what’s going on with her parents and what she’s thinking about in there.”

After Fred was confronted by Nella over her upset, he told her: “I am so sorry. Can I just say? First of all, I am sorry I’ve offended you. I am unaware that you felt offended. I am unaware that what I said would lead to this conversation, I only said that in a way because I am older than you, I am 51 and you’re 26.”
Nella said back: “I’m not stupid, you’re not going to little girl me, you’re not.” Fred told her: “Nella, it wasn’t like that at all,” swearing on his family’s life. He added: “Either I made a mistake and I said something and I offended you, I’m really sorry. I’m really sorry you feel like this.” Nella went on: “I accept your apology, but in order for us to live in this camp together, I don’t want to eat no food that you’re cooking, don’t talk to me.
“You stay over there, I stay over here and we can live. I’m good. Yeah. You stay over there. Look at your face, you’re smiling. You don’t even give a f**k.” Fred went on to ask: “You could have said straight away, ‘Excuse me Fred this is upsetting me’.” Nella said to him: “Can you not clock on the vibe?” Fred replied: “No, because you’ve been sleeping quite a lot so I thought you were tired. If I made a faux pas, unwillingly, unconsciously, I am very sorry. But this was all it was. That’s all it was. If you want to take it to the nth degree and not speak to me anymore, it’s your choice.” Nella added: “You only get one chance to disrespect me. I accept your apology but let’s not be friends. How about that?”
