I’m A Celebrity campmate Nigel Farage has been in the jungle camp for only one day, but already he’s dished the dirt on former political colleagues.

The former UKIP politician, who previously campaigned for Brexit, opened up about working with Conservative politician Boris Johnson. Farage clearly isn’t a fan of the former Prime Minister, as he branded him ‘one of the most disorganised human beings that possibly ever lived’.

The comments come after Farage joined nine other celebrities for this year’s series of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! Other celebrities joining Farage are actress and singer Jamie Lynn Spears, TV personality and radio DJ Sam Thompson, This Morning host Josie Gibson, TV presenter Fred Sirieix, YouTuber Nella Rose, food critic Grace Dent, pop star and TV presenter Marvin Humes, EastEnders star Danielle Harold and Hollyoaks Icon Nick Pickard.

Around camp as the campmates settled in, Josie Gibson asked Nigel Farage what Boris Johnson was like, as she said: “What’s he like on a personal level?” EastEnders actress Danielle Harold then added: “Forget politics, as a guy.”” Farage cut straight to the chase as he replied: “Entertaining… in small doses. [He’s] surprisingly introverted. You see this big act, fluffing the hair… surprising.”

Josie then asked if the Boris Johnson seen on TV is the same off screen as she questioned: “Is he quite a fumbler in real life, or is that just on the stage?” Pulling no punches, Farage slammed the former Conservative leader as he said: “I think he’s one of the most disorganised human beings that possibly ever lived. The whole thing’s b****y chaos. Shambles.”

Speaking after in the Bush Telegraph, Danielle confessed: “I found it so interesting to listen, sat with him picking his brains, having a chat. Then it got a little bit heated.”

In the first episode of I’m A Celebrity on ITV yesterday (Sunday 19 November), hosts Ant and Dec took a swipe at Farage with a cheeky dig at the politician’s presenter role on GB News. Opening the programme, Dec explained: “There’s the man who’s got everyone talking. Nigel Farage. Nigel is now, not just known for his controversial political career, he’s also got his own show on GB News. Now of course, he won’t be presenting that show over the next three weeks. So we’d like to take this opportunity to apologise to all of GB News viewers.” In their cheeky Geordie humour, Ant then quipped: “Sorry Keith, sorry Linda.”

Ant and Dec faced a huge backlash last week over the decision to let the controversial former politician fly out to the jungle, with some fans threatening to boycott the show before it even began. It has been rumoured that production bosses have paid Farage over £1.5million to join this year’s list of famous faces. More than 1,000 people have sent complaints to Ant and Dec who are already down under filming and ahead of further celebrity arrivals.
