ITV have confirmed the date for this year’s final of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

Bosses have announced the final only three days after its explosive launch last Sunday as viewers watch campmates collide. This year’s line-up is made up of Britney Spears’ sister Jamie-Lynn, TV personality Sam Thompson, This Morning’s Josie Gibson, First Dates’ Fred Sirieix, YouTuber Nella Rose, former politician Nigel Farage, food critic Grace Dent, JLS star Marvin Humes, EastEnders legend Danielle Harold and Hollyoaks star Nick Pickard.

The series’ final episode will run for 100 minutes, kicking off, as usual, at 9pm and will finish at around 10.40pm. This year’s I’m A Celebrity final will air on ITV1 on Sunday, December 10 as three campmates will be whittled down to one.

Last year’s winner was Lioness Jill Scott who scooped the top spot from runner-up Hollyoaks star Owen Warner who beat disgraced MP Matt Hancock, who finished in third place. It’s thought Jill will return to crown the King or Queen of the Jungle.

It’s been an explosive week for I’m A Celeb after YouTuber Nella Rose clashed with First Dates star campmate Fred Sirieix. ITV viewers watched on Tuesday night as Nella confessed to feeling “disrespected” and “offended” with comments Fred unwittingly made to her regarding some heartbreaking family losses. Nella has previously spoken about her father passing away in 2020, while she also sadly lost her mother when she was just 19-years-old.

In the disagreement, Nella claimed Fred was aware of her family tragedy so a comment he made to her in camp left her upset. Explaining what had happened, Nella told the Bush Telegraph: “Last night after dinner Fred made a comment about him basically how he could be my dad.

“I took offence to that because one of the first conversations we had together was me opening up about the fact that my dad’s passed away. I didn’t say anything about it last night because I was kind of just annoyed about it. So I slept on it and I kind of thought about it and I was just like, this is not the kind of person I want to be around.”

The tiff between Fred and Rose should be taken lightly, says the YouTuber’s pal Indiyah Polack. Love Island’s Indiyah told ITV’s Lorraine today: “I don’t think Fred had any malicious intent but none of us are Nella, we’re not in a sweaty jungle… getting bitten by green ants and eating rice and beans.”

She added: “I feel like in that environment it’s very easy for things to be blown out or taken the wrong way. I do hope they can get over it…they’ll talk about it, maybe have couple of days rest and they’ll be back. The whole situation can be taken with a grain of salt, a pinch of salt. But even with that, with all of us knowing that Nella’s dad has passed away, maybe it was something Fred could have thought about, maybe this could be taken out of proportion. You just never know.”

Former I’m A Celebrity champion Tony Blackburn has come to the defence of Fred saying he thought the argument was “stupid” and he believes the maitre d’ is a “kind man.” He wrote on Twitter : “What a stupid argument last night between Nella and Fred. He said he was old enough to be her father. I know sadly she has recently lost her father but surely hasn’t she ever heard of the expression ‘I’m old enough to be your father’ He didn’t mean any harm, he seems a very kind man.”
