Michelle Keegan has shared that she’s “sorting her life out” after a “stressful” decision about her husband, Mark Wright. The former Coronation Street star, who’s been tipped for big things in the US following her Netflix success, recently starred in the hit series Fool Me Once. This has reportedly opened lots of doors for Michelle, with Hollywood bosses sending her loads of scripts for future projects.
In a recent chat, Michelle hinted at a move to America, however, this would mean leaving Mark and her family behind. She’s reported to be feeling ‘stressed’ about choosing between the career she’s always dreamed of and staying close to her loved ones. She’s already experienced long-distance with her TOWIE star husband when he went to America for work.
The couple have just finished renovating their massive home in Essex, with it now reportedly worth £3.5 million. Michelle recently took to Instagram to update her fans as she posted a picture of a 2024 diary, a to-do list and a weekly planner, writing: “Sorting my life out and getting organised.”

Michelle opened up about her time in the US when she visited Mark during his time working there. She told the Guardian: “I went to America when Mark was out there. Didn’t like it. But let’s see. If a job comes up… I guess?” She also said: “I’ve never thought beyond what I’m doing right at that moment. And I think that’s how I live now as well. I don’t think in terms of goals. I live in the moment.”
On the Happy Place podcast with Ferne Cotton, Michelle talked about long-distance love, as reported by the Mirror: “That’s the thing – we’re not the first to it. And it is a job thing.” She shared how they manage, saying: “I had like two months alone but then he’d come out and stay with me for six weeks. And it’s just having and finding that time for each other. I think that’s the main key, but also letting us have our freedom to do what we wanna do career-wise.”

Reports have swirled that Michelle might become the next Bond girl and her husband Mark has commented on the news, saying: “She’s such a down-to-earth girl, never forgotten her roots, that is why when she sits there and reads news, that she is in the running to be the next Bond Girl, she’s like ‘nah no chance, I’m not having it!’
The former TOWIE star continued: “But then when you think about it, why not! They’ve put her in the mix with Jodie Comer, also could be running, and in the past, we’ve had Rosamund Pike, Monica Bellucci, Halle Berry, just imagine if Michelle is the next Bond Girl.”
