Taylor Swift’s father, Scott Swift, is under investigation in New South Wales, Australia following an alleged altercation with members of the paparazzi.
TMZ reports that the New South Wales Police are investigating an alleged assault after a photographer named Ben McDonald filed a complaint against Swift.
McDonald alleges he was photographing Taylor Swift at Neutral Bay Wharf early Tuesday morning when Scott charged at and knocked him to the ground. At least a portion of the incident was captured on video footage and shared with TMZ.

In a statement in response to the allegation, a representative for Taylor Swift said, “Two individuals were aggressively pushing their way towards Taylor, grabbing at her security personnel, and threatening to throw a female staff member into the water.”
Swift recently wrapped up the Australian leg of “The Eras Tour” with a run of shows in Sydney. She’ll next head to Singapore for six sold-out shows.
