Sources say the decision came after authorities expressed concern that gang members might track the actor’s movements through the paparazzi. These images could make it easier for them to plan an attack.
Salman Khan’s family and the Mumbai Crime Branch reportedly urged this step after fresh warnings from a well-known gang. Gang members have allegedly been following his public appearances through recent pictures, putting the Bollywood star at greater risk of an attack.
Even though Salman Khan already has strong security due to past threats, this move adds another layer of protection. The media is being asked to cooperate by not sharing his public photos, especially those taken in places like gyms, airports, and film sets, where he is most visible.
Although Salman Khan’s team and the police have not officially commented, sources confirm that the paparazzi are taking this request seriously. They have agreed to follow the new guidelines to ensure the actor’s safety during this period of increased threats.
For those who may not know, the authorities disclosed that Sukhbir Singh, also known as Sukha, was arrested in Haryana. He had reportedly been tasked with killing Salman Khan using advanced weapons from Pakistan. Sukha had connections with his handler, Dogar, who was also part of the assassination plan.
Salman Khan has faced similar threats in the past. Earlier this year, police arrested 18 gang members after discovering a plot to attack him. These events led to a significant increase in security around his residence in Bandra. Several gang members remain under investigation, while Salman Khan’s security continues to be a top priority amid ongoing threats.
