Instead, she pulled up the paparazzo. In a video shared online, a cameraman wanted her to posed for him. ‘Malaika ma’am…’ a cameraman said, which instantly caught her attention. “Arre, Mallika…” she corrected before she walked up to him and pulled his ears. “Iske kaan kheecho,” she said and eventually pulled his ears. She also urged the paparazzi to watch Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video with the family. “It is a family film, watch it with your family and kids. Even if you don’t have children, make babies and go,” she said. He decided to rope in Mallika because the script had a role that she was perfect for.“The reason I brought in Mallika was that the role that is written, it suited her well. The role tries to depict the ‘modern woman’ of the late 1990s. Mallika fitted the role perfectly. That is why we cast her.
