Sydney Sweeney shared a cringe-inducing story involving invasive photographers and a twisted offer to her friend and family. The Anyone But You actress revealed that during an incident that happened at her Florida home, paparazzi offered to leave her and her family alone if she'd simply come out in her bikini so they could snap photos. "They said, ‘If you tell her to just come outside in a bikini, I’ll take pictures and then I’ll leave you alone,'" Sweeney told Glamour in a new interview this week. She went on to explain that the photographers invading her privacy puts her and her family in danger, since photos of her spending time near her home can make it easier for people to identify where she lives. Aliah Anderson/WireImage "I have pictures of these guys in kayaks hiding in bushes in the ocean," she added. "They got there at 8 a.m. and wouldn’t leave until 4 p.m. I should be able to be in my home and feel comfortable and safe. My actual safety is at risk. Everyone knows where I am. Now, there’s boats that go by and I literally hear them say, ‘This is Sydney Sweeney’s house.’ It becomes a star tour in my front yard.” Sweeney also took a moment to address rumors that she calls the paparazzi herself and invites them to photograph her. She explained that she often has family and friends at her home and the idea that she'd subject them to photographers is just crazy. “Why would I call the paparazzi to take pictures of me at my own house when my baby cousins and family are there and I’m in my backyard? Why would I ever want that?" she asked. Getty Sweeney opened up about her meteoric rise in Hollywood and how quickly she became one of the most recognizable faces in Hollywood—something that seemingly came out of nowhere. She noted that fame came with criticism and that she wasn't prepared to see how easily people could "build" her up and "tear" her down. Speaking to Variety last year, she said, “People are so fast to build someone up, and then they love tearing them down. And it’s so fascinating to see. Three years ago, I was going to college just like everybody else. And all of a sudden, I’m not a human anymore.”
