Lana Del Rey has broken her silence following her surprise nuptials to alligator tour guide Jeremy Dufrene down in Louisiana last week… but this message isn’t exactly what you were probably expecting!
The superstar singer, whose real name is Elizabeth Grant, is enjoying her post-wedding bliss with the hunky bayou bro. However, she would be enjoying it all a little bit more if the paparazzi down in the Pelican State would just leave them the hell alone!!
On Wednesday, the 39-year-old crooner took to the comments of a fan page’s Instagram video which showed Lana lounging around on a dock with Dufrene. The duo is sitting back against a wall and enjoying some quality time with each other as the video shoots from way far off in the distance. And for the Tough singer, that invasion of privacy ain’t cool!

Writing in response to the surreptitiously recorded video, the Summertime Sadness crooner began by noting how “a local couple” from the city of Houma was tracking their every move:
“Unfortunately, a local couple from Houma won’t stop flying drones into our windows every morning and following us with a tracker.”
Lana then called out the woman by name, as well as dropping the dime on a well-known paparazzi photog from the New Orleans area:
“But if [name redacted] and Kruesch (a famous New Orleans paparazzi) could stop switching vehicles following the family — and stop following us around remote parts of the country and photo shopping my wedding ring into a pearl — I know we would feel a lot safer.”
But thankfully, she wrapped things on a positive note! She said:
“All that being said Jeremy is the one and only. And amazing. And we’re very happy.”

We definitely can’t hate her for wanting some privacy following her wedding, that’s for sure! The media attention must be intense in that regard. And doubly so for somebody like Dufrene, who isn’t used to this Hollywood-style attention at ALL! To slightly mis-quote an icon — LEAVE LANA ALONE!!! LOLz!
