Lana Del Rey is speaking out for the first time after getting married to her new husband Jeremy Dufrene.
Last week the 39-year-old “Summertime Sadness” chanteuse married Jeremy, a Louisiana-born alligator hunter and tour guide, in a private ceremony.
On Wednesday (October 2), she took to social media to call out the paparazzi who have followed her and Jeremy since the wedding. She also made some of her first public comments about her new husband.

In the comments section of a fan account on Instagram, Lana responded to paparazzi footage of herself and Jeremy enjoying time together.
“Unfortunately, a local couple from Houma won’t stop flying drones into our windows every morning and following us with a tracker,” she wrote, continuing in a second comment. “But if Sara Michelle Champagne and Kruesch (a famous New Orleans paparazzi) could stop switching vehicles following the family- and stop following us around remote parts of the country and photo shopping my wedding ring into a pearl- I know we would feel a lot safer.”
Despite calling out the paparazzi, Lana made it clear that she was ecstatically in love.
“All that being said Jeremy is the one and only,” she wrote. “And amazing. And we’re very happy.”
