Credit: Instagram Heather Dubrow shared she had a “breakdown” after watching Tamra Judge and Emily Simpson “take such joy” in seeing her “demise” amid her paparazzi drama. She also addressed texts that Tamra and Emily sent after Heather saw the scene, and shared her secret to beating the reality TV marriage curse. On the latest season of the Real Housewives of Orange County, newbie Katie Ginella told castmates she had proof that Heather and her husband Terry Dubrow called the paparazzi to take photos of them – an allegation she denied last year when Tamra brought it up. So this year, when Katie addressed the situation, Tamra was happy to allegedly be redeemed. Emily was also seemingly pleased to hear what Katie had to say. “I think the hardest thing for me to watch this season was when Katie told all the girls about the paparazzi thing,” said Heather on Gabbing with Gib. Though she called the cast’s reaction “annoying,” she understood that they were drinking “at a bar” at the time, as someone gave them “salacious information.” “It’s fine. I mean, it’s not fine, but it’s fine,” she said. “But then you saw Emily and Tamra hanging out and the conversation they had – I shed tears that night.” According to Heather, Tamra texted her “pretty immediately” after Heather watched the scene: “[She sent] like a very long [text saying] ‘That was sh**ty. I didn’t even realize how sh**ty I was being.’” “I did [also] end up hearing from Emily like a couple of days later. It wasn’t [like Tamra’s] text,” Heather added, laughing. “It was more like, ‘Well, we all do sh**ty things to each other … Like well, you’ve upset me [too].'” “Watching the two of them talk about me was so hurtful,” she explained. “And that night … I had like a little mini breakdown. I went into my bathroom and I just cried and I thought, ‘God, why is it that these people that I think are my friends take such joy in seeing my demise?'” In an interview with Life & Style, Heather also addressed the reality TV marriage curse – and how she and Terry avoid it. “Many couples are already in jeopardy when they’re coming on the show,” she said. “We’re lucky enough to have a very solid, good relationship. That doesn’t mean it’s perfect. It’s marriage. It’s difficult.” “You have to have a date night, you have to have sex, you have to make time for each other,” she explained. “And you have to know that your children will leave but your relationship is forever.” The Real Housewives of Orange County airs Thursday nights on Bravo.
