Beetlejuice Beetlejuice starring Michael Keaton, Winona Ryder and Jenna Ortega held onto the top spot at the box office for the third weekend in a row, taking in an additional $26 million for an impressive total of $226.8 million. Click here to read our review. The animated movie Transformers One, which goes back in time to tell the origin story of Optimus Prime and Megatron, debuted in second place, earning $25 million. Moving to third place was the thriller Speak No Evil starring James McAvoy, which took in an extra $5.9 million for a two-week total of $21.5 million. Debuting in fourth place was the thriller/horror film Never Let Go starring Halle Berry, which earned $4.5 million. Rounding out the top five was Deadpool & Wolverine starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, earning an extra $3.9 million for a nine-week total domestic take of $627.3 million.
