Chappell Roan has clapped back at paparazzi’s remarks at the 2024 VMA’s.
Chappell Roan seemingly clapped back at a photographer while walking the carpet at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards.
Roan cursed out the photographer, who seemingly told her to “shut the f— up” on the red carpet while she was fixing her dress.
After hearing that, Roan, who had her back turned to the paparazzi, immediately turned around and yelled back, “You shut the f— up.” “Not me, b—-,” she added while looking at the same photographer.
Even fellow celeb Rachel Ziegler commented on the moment, writing: “Good for her.”

Recently, Chappell has been very vocal about not tolerating “creepy behaviour”.
After shooting to fame extremely fast, she shared two TikTok videos calling out fans for “stalking” her and demanding pictures.

“I don’t care that abuse and harassment, stalking, whatever, is a normal thing to do to people who are famous or a little famous,” she said. “It’s weird how people think that you know a person because you see them online and you listen to the art they make …”
She stood by her comments in a follow-up post on Instagram, writing: “I’m not afraid of the consequences for demanding respect.”
This year, Roan has been nominated for four VMAs, including best new artist, push performance of the year, song of summer and best trending video.
