It is Sara Ali Khan’s birthday.And, the actress has been receiving greetings from her fans and friends. Not to miss, the actress celebrated her birthday by cutting a cake in front of the paparazzi who had gathered outside her house. The birthday girl looked stunning in a white salwar suit. She smiled cheerfully as she posed with the cake after cutting it. The Simmba actress turned 29 today. Sara gave each of the photographers a gift box in addition to sharing her birthday cake with them. The actress, who is known for her vivid personality and aptitude for more complex, performance-focused parts, is still a favourite despite some recent mixed reviews.Sara Ali Khan is the daughter of Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan and his former wife, Amrita Singh.
Sara Ali Khan has never shied away from talking about her personal and professional life. Even before her debut film, she openly recognised the benefits of being an “insider” in a BBC interview. “The main perk is access,” the actress stated.
Sara said that she could drop by Rohit Shetty’s workplace and request that he give her a chance to star in Simmba. Sara does not dispute the access that her parents fought so hard to provide her with.She also informed the media outlet that “if you’re not good, you won’t be cast in a second picture.”
Sara made her Bollywood debut with Kedarnath, which was filmed against the background of the 2013 Uttarakhand floods. Sara played Mukku in the Abhishek Kapoor-directed film Kedarnath, which starred the late Sushant Singh Rajput. Mukku was a vibrant young woman whose rebellious attitude and profound sense of compassion defined her character’s personality.
She won the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut for her performance.
Simmba, directed by Rohit Shetty, was Sara’s second big-screen appearance. Sara portrayed the love interest of Simmba played by Ranveer Singh.
Following her role in the romantic drama Love Aaj Kal in 2020, Sara dabbled with humour with the movie Coolie No. 1, which was a remake of the Govinda-Karisma Kapoor hit from 1995. Sara worked for Aanand L. Rai’s Atrangi Re in 2021.
In 2023, she also experimented with other genres, including psychological thrillers with Gaslight.
Alongside Vicky Kaushal, Sara co-starred in Zara Hatke Zara Bachke.
Sara adopted a more sombre character in the historical drama Ae Watan Mere Watan, which is set in 1942 during India’s Quit India movement.
Sara will soon appear on the big screen in Anurag Basu’s highly awaited film Metro…In Dino, opposite Aditya Roy Kapur, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, Anupam Kher, and Fatima Sana Shaikh.
